What are personalized ads?
Personalized advertisements, also known as retargeting ads, are ads that are shown to you as a result of an action you have taken on an advertiser's website. For example, if you visited an online shoe store, but didn’t make a purchase, the advertiser may opt to serve your personalized retargeting ads in an attempt to encourage you to revisit their website.
Shift uses retargeting ads. When you visit Shift's website or click on one of its ads, some information such as cookies are collected and may be used in retargeting campaigns.
