Extensions: Using Boomerang in Shift

Are you a Boomerang user and want to use it in Shift? Here is a summary of how to add Boomerang to your setup and manage it in Shift! Please note that Boomerang may only work with your Primary email in Shift. 

Take control of your inbox with Boomerang for Gmail. Boomerang has many features to boost your productivity, like email scheduling and reminders.

This feature is available for all Shift Advanced users. 

What is Boomerang? 

Boomerang is an extension that helps you manage your email. You can schedule emails, set reminders, and see if your emails are read.

Boomerang for Gmail in Shift works similarly as in the browser.

How to Add Boomerang to Shift

  1. Open Shift
  2. Click on the Extensions icon to the right of the Omnibox
  3. Click the “Add Extension” button
  4. This will take you to the Chrome Extension Store
  5. Search for Boomerang
  6. Click "Add to Shift" and then "Add Extension"
  7. Now, Boomerang will work with your Gmail in Shift

How does Boomerang work in Shift? 

  1. Click on 'Compose' in Gmail
  2. You will find a new bar at the bottom of the 'New Message' window

You can schedule your emails based on time, day, or date.

You can pause your inbox.

You will find the Boomerang icon in between Support and Google Apps in all your Gmail accounts in Shift.
