Discord is an app where you can talk with others using voice, video, text, and share files. You can chat privately or join groups called "servers." Shift Advanced users can use the Discord web app in Shift. Click to learn more about Discord features.
How to Add Discord to Shift
- Click the "+" in the lower-left corner
- Click on "Add Application"
- Type "Discord" in the search bar
- Select "Discord," then add your preferred account name and colour
- Click "Save" to add Discord in the Shift sidebar
- Log in to your Discord account

You can add multiple Discord accounts to Shift. Just follow the same steps to log into your other accounts.
How to manage notifications and badges for Discord in Shift?
- While in Discord, click the lock icon next to the search bar at the top
- Click on "Site Settings"
- From here, you can turn your notifications and badges on or off

Discord Desktop App vs. Discord in Shift
Shift supports the web version of Discord. Both the web and desktop versions have many features in common. However, the "Push to Talk" feature is limited in the web version and only works when the Discord app is in focus in Shift.
