Managing Download Settings

1. Go to Settings
   1. Click on Quick Settings in the top-right corner of Shift
   2. Scroll down to Advanced Settings 
   3. Select ‘Downloads’ from the sidebar
2. Set Download Preferences
   1. Manage your default download location
   2. Choose whether to be asked where to save each file before downloading

Access Download History 

• When you download a file, it will appear in the completed downloads bar at the bottom of your screen.
• You can open files directly from this bar or navigate to where they were downloaded on your computer.
• To see your download history, type chrome://downloads/ into the search bar at the top of Shift.

Note: there is no drag and drop function from the downloads bar.

Uploading Files 

• Use the email or app attachment button to upload a file, or simply drag and drop a file from your computer into Shift.

Note: There is a known issue with dragging files into Shift. Read more about it in this knowledge article.
