Bookmark Bars are special groups of bookmarks that show up across the top of the Shift. They help you organize links and can be global (available everywhere) or linked to a specific Workspace. Let’s learn more about Bookmark Bars! 🍫
Home Bar
Can’t see your bookmarks? Press Cmd + Shift + B (on Mac) or Ctrl + Shift + B (on Windows) to show them.
By default, all bookmarks appear in the Home Bar. This is the main Bookmark Bar for all Workspaces and is available everywhere in Shift. The Home Bar:
- Cannot be deleted.
- Its name cannot be changed.
Note: Shift supports up to 5000 bookmarks
How to create a new Bookmark Bar
- Click the drop-down arrow on the right-hand side of the Bookmark Bar.
- Select "Add Bookmark Bar."
- Choose a name and an icon, then click "Save."
Tip: If you don’t make the new bar global, you’ll only see it in the Workspace where you created it.
Note: A new Bookmark Bar is automatically created for every new Workspace you make.

How to edit a Bookmark Bar
You can edit any Bookmark Bar except the Home Bar.
- Click the drop-down arrow on the right-hand side of the Bookmark Bar.
- Right-click the bar you want to edit.
- Change the name, icon, or global settings as needed.

How to delete a Bookmark Bar
You can delete any Bookmark Bar except the Home Bar.
- Click the drop-down arrow on the right-hand side of the Bookmark Bar.
- Right-click the bar you want to delete and confirm by clicking "OK."
