Currently, links are not able to be opened in a secondary draggable Shift window (i.e. if you want to display an opened link in a new window on a secondary monitor). Subsequently, there are some scenarios where links will not open in a secondary window:

1. Gmail - Compose in a new window

Unlike in the old version of Shift, clicking the "compose in new window" button will open a new tab rather than a secondary window.

Status: Investigating ⏳

Currently, secondary windows are not available in Shift. Our Product and Development Teams are investigating what this could look like in a future update of Shift.
