Shift adds easy buttons for your calendar and Drive, but it doesn't change the Gmail interface. Any changes to your Gmail settings, like inbox layout, theme, add-ons, signature, and vacation responder, need to be made within Gmail itself.

Here are some key Gmail settings and how to access them in Gmail:

How to adjust your signature

  1. Click the gear icon in the top right corner to open the Quick Settings slider
  2. Click on ‘See All Settings’ at the top of the slider
  3. In the ‘General’ tab scroll down to the ‘Signature’ section
  4. Click ‘Create New’ to add a new signature or select one of your existing signatures to edit or remove
  5. If creating a new signature you’ll be prompted to Name it
  6. Don’t forget to scroll to the very bottom of the page to ‘Save Changes’
