How to use Shift on multiple computers

Good news! You can use your Shift account on as many supported devices (Mac and Windows desktops) as you like—at no extra cost. Your basic Shift setup, including email accounts and apps, will sync across devices. However, some settings won’t sync automatically. 💻

Follow these steps to use Shift on multiple computers:

Steps to Set Up Shift on Another Computer

  1. Download Shift
    1. Go to Shift.com and download Shift to your other computer
  2. Log in to your existing account
    1. Open Shift and select "Log in to existing account" 
    2. Sign in using your Primary Shift Account (need help identifying your Primary Shift Account? Check out this article for more information)
  3. Set up your emails and apps
    1. Log into all your email account and apps again on the new device
  4. Close Shift when done
    1. Fully close Shift on any computer you're not using. This helps ensure your emails and apps are updated across all devices

Sync Information

When you use Shift on multiple computers, some information and features will not sync across devices. Here’s what will and won’t sync:
