This article outlines how to cancel your subscription to Shift as either an individual or Teams user.
Subscription Policy
Your Shift subscription bills on an annual basis. Paid subscriptions are an opt-out model meaning you must cancel your subscription if you do not want it to renew automatically on your renewal date.
Renewal reminders are sent to the email on file 30 days, 14 days, and 5 days prior to your renewal date to ensure you're adequately notified of your upcoming renewal.

How to cancel your subscription (individual user)
- Head to https://shift.com/account
- Log in using your Primary Shift Account
- Click on Subscription Cancel Subscription and confirm
After completion, your subscription will be canceled. You can continue using your Shift Advanced account until your next auto-renewal date, at which time your account will automatically be downgraded to a Shift Basic (Free) account and you will not be charged again.
If you want to opt-in again, simply click "Renew Subscription" and select "Proceed"

How to cancel your Team's subscription (Shift for Teams)
If you are the admin of a Team and would like to cancel the team's subscription, you can do so through the account portal, here.
Log in > Subscription > Cancel subscription
If you're the admin of a Team and would only like you cancel your individual license (and keep the rest of the team active), please get in touch with our Support team by submitting a ticket. Once received, we will be in touch to facilitate your request.

What if I no longer have access to my Shift account?
If you no longer have access to your Shift account and cannot sign in to the Account Portal, please get in touch with our Support team by submitting a ticket. Once received, we will be in touch to address your request.
